History of heatlinq

Heatlinq was legally founded in early 2021 by three pioneers in the area of ultra-deep geothermal energy.

In its first year, Heatlinq invested time and effort in scanning the market opportunities for ultra-deep geothermal energy, mapping existing players in explorative industries as well as those little pearls prepared to deliver on highly innovative techniques, tooling and specific product requirements that would enable drilling in uncharted territories in terms of depth.

Heatlinq will translate all this in a prospectus and anticipates an IPO when ready. Heatlinq, its products and techniques will always remain seismologically safe and fully carbon neutral.

Who are you?

With a Masters degree in both Business Administration and in Real Estate, I started my professional career. As a founder of SolarEnergyWorks, I developed renewable energy projects since 2012 and connected to the grid several utility scale PV projects in the Netherlands and Greece. Starting in 2021, I am also CEO of Mega Windforce, a company that develops a new type of carbon wind turbine that is very light and does not require a gearbox.

Why heatlinq?

While solar and wind will remain necessary in the energy transition, I am confident Heatlinq is able to harvest the ever present and abundant energy from within the planet. I believe in geothermic energy’s potential. Heatlinq can revitalise stranded assets in the carbon based industry, rely on existing infrastructure, produce electricity at lowest cost, full time regardless of weather conditions, with a minimal footprint, without any hazard or burden for the surroundings.

What is your ambition with Heatlinq?

As Heatlinq’s ambition is to be the game changer in the energy market, I would like to contribute with my project management skills and bring the worldwide energy transition within reach, in time and at acceptable costs!

Aswin Eshuis

Who are you?

I am an entrepreneur and went through the process from founding to start up to scale up several times in my career. With a lot of energy, dedication and – consequently – success. Most energy and success is achieved by exploring the potential from disruptive solutions within industries. Strong and innovative businesses have sprouted from that.

Why heatlinq?

As I have 4 children, I am intrinsically motivated to actively join and further develop our Heatlinq movement and be able to deliver the fruits of our journey to future generations.

What is your ambition with Heatlinq?

Ultra deep geothermal energy transition needs to happen now for our loved ones and requires all those passionate frontrunners involved to linq together. I am very much motivated to bring a carbon-free future for all. ‘Let’s Heatlinq the world’.

Gerben Everts

Who are you?

I am born and raised in the Netherlands (Groningen). Trained as an economist and lawyer, I had a career in public service and asset management, in the Netherlands and in Belgium (Brussels, European Commission). Over the last 9 years, as an Executive Board Member of the Financial Market Regulator, I was responsible for wholesale supervision in the Netherlands – with a strong dedication vis-à-vis sustainability.

Why heatlinq?

Climate stabilization and the continuity of species can be achieved – but requires urgent action. In the next decades, the game-changer for a truly global and fully sustainable Green New Deal will be the use of geothermal energy, replacing carbon intense energy production.

What is your ambition with Heatlinq?

Heatlinq has the potential to lead the blueprint for change by exploring the full-potential of ultra-deep geothermal energy, being a first mover in connecting and redirecting existing techniques and infrastructures, creating good and innovative jobs and improving living standards across the board. I want Heatlinq to deliver on that promise and am very motivated to contribute to this movement with my business knowledge and experience of financial markets.
